In this study; It is aimed to investigate whether the linguistic phenomenon is included in the concept of value in field studies related to value education. The problem of researching in this framework is, "What is the value of being included in a subtitle as the value of the concept of" language "in the texts obtained about education of values?. In order to achieve this aim, the articles obtained as a result of searching the key concepts of "language + value + value education" on the internet were scanned in Journal of Values Education, graduate theses and doctoral dissertations from periodicals. In the research, document review technique was used from the qualitative research techniques and the obtained documents were analyzed by descriptive analysis. As a result of this review, it has been determined that classifications of Spranger, Rokeach, Schwartz and Nelson are used in the researches on values and values education in Turkey. These values are thought to have arisen as a result of human being being centered as an individual in life. However, if the existence of a human being is meaningful, it is not found in the titles of values. The end result of human being's worthy act of speech. The individual who uses language skills starts to create values that will please him. If these values are thought to be independent from the background, it should be seen as a problem. This problem is seen in primary education programs, Turkish textbooks and secondary literature books. As a result, it is foreseen that in this study it is open to debate the idea of adding the usual value classifications to the "linguistic case", that language is a value on its own and that other values that explain this value are better understood.

Bu çalışmada; değer eğitimi ile ilgili alan çalışmalarında dil olgusunun değer kavramı içerisinde yer alıp almadığının araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu çerçevede araştırmanın problemini “Değerler eğitimi ile ilgili elde edilen metinlerde “dil olgusu” kavramına değer olarak bir alt başlıkta yer verilme durumu nedir?” sorusu oluşturmaktadır. Bu amaca ulaşmak için “dil+değer+değer eğitimi” anahtar kavramlarının internet ortamında aranması sonucunda elde edilen makaleler, süreli yayınlardan Değerler Eğitimi Dergisi, yüksek lisan tezleri ve doktora tezleri taranmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma tekniklerinden doküman inceleme tekniği kullanılmış ve elde edilen dokümanlar betimsel analiz yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Bu inceleme sonucunda Türkiye’de değerler ve değerler eğitimi konusunda yapılan araştırmalarda genellikle Spranger, Rokeach, Schwartz ve Nelson’un yapmış olduğu sınıflandırmaların kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu değerlerin yaşam içerisinde insanın birey olarak merkeze alınması sonucu ortaya çıktığı düşünülebilir. Fakat insanın varlığını anlamlı kılan dil olgusu ise değer başlıkları içinde yer bulamamıştır. İnsanın değeri, konuşma eyleminin gerçekleşmesi sonucu ortaya çıkar. Dil yetisini kullanan birey kendini hoşnut edecek değerleri de oluşturmaya başlar. Oluşan bu değerlerin dil’den bağımsızmış gibi düşünülmesi ise bir problem olarak görülmelidir. Bu problem ilköğretim programlarında, Türkçe ders kitaplarında ve ortaöğretim edebiyat kitaplarında da görülmektedir. Sonuç olarak bu çalışmada alışıla gelmiş değer sınıflandırmalarına “dil olgusu”nun da eklenilmesi görüşünü tartışmaya açmak, dil’in kendi başına bir değer olduğunu ve bu değerin anlatılması sonucu diğer değerlerin daha iyi kavratılacağı öngörülmektedir.
