People can suffer psychological and physiological damage in devastating events such as war and have severe consequences. Children have always been the worst affected group in such incidents. While this crisis experienced by children makes it difficult for them to adapt to a new beginning, it also puts their education and psychological resilience at risk. In the study, in order to minimize this risky status of children, the difficulties of children under temporary protection in educational environments and their expectations from education according to their parental opinions were examined. Investigation in the case of qualitative research methods status work was used. Case study, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. During the data collection phase, interviews were conducted with 15 Syrian families. While analyzing the data, the MAXQDA program was used. The findings were thematically analyzed and the opinions of the parents were gathered under certain themes. According to the results of the study, students under temporary protection had to migrate due to the war, could not continue their education in their country when the war started, and then they could not continue their education due to unfavorable living conditions, they still had adaptation and language problems, they found the Turkish education system insufficient, and they did not have any choice from the Turkish education system. It has been concluded that they do not have any expectations, they want to receive Turkish education and they want to continue living in Turkey in their future lives.
