AN EXAMPLE OF A PLAN FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF INTRACLASS LEARNINGS (1927 - TERBIYE MECMUASI)

From the past to the present, the concept of education is one of the most important issues that societies focus on. It is seen that the concept of education which has different dimensions and variables in itself is generally based on constructivist approaches nowadays. In the constructivist approach, emphasis on the process rather than the result has bring to the assessment of classroom learning forefront. In this study, a plan prepared for the assessment of intraclass learnings in 1927 was examined. Examining the sources of educational history is important for understanding the basics of today's educational approaches. This study is a qualitative study based on the phenomenology pattern, and the analysis of the texts obtained through document review. The results obtained in this study can contribute to today's practices and are consistent with the constructivist approach. It is seen that the plan, which especially refers to teachers' evaluations regarding classroom management, also complies with the teacher competencies determined today.
