In this research, the analyses of validity and reliability of the Autonomous-Relational Self Scale (ARSS; Kağıtçıbaşı, Baydar, & Cemalcılar, 2006) based on Kağıtçıbaşı’s Autonomous-Relational Self-Model (ARSM) were performed. In this scope, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Cronbach's Alpha were analyzed on two different samples. It was found that; as a result of the AFA and CFA, ARSS consists of two factors and 18 items as the original version. The correlations between Autonomous and Relational which are sub-factors of the ARSS were examined. The scores of the Autonomous and Relational were compared according to marital status and gender through Mann Whitney U Test. The cut-off scores of self-models proposed by Kağıtçıbaşı; Autonomous-Separated, Heteronomous-Relational, Autonomous-Relational, and Heteronomous-Separated were determined by using K Means Cluster Analysis above scores of ARSS. In addition to, the analyses of validity, reliability and translation from English to Turkish of the Inner Wellbeing Questionnaire (IWBQ; White, Gaines, & Jha, 2013), which is based on the Multi-Dimensional Model of Inner Wellbeing (MIWB) were performed. The results of EFA and CFA indicated that IWBQ consists of the seven sub-factors/domains and 35 items (5 items per domain) as the original version. The correlations were examined among all the domains of the IWBQ which are called Economic Confidence, Agency/Participation, Social Connections, Close Relationships, Physical/Mental Health, Competence/Self-Worth and Values/Meaning. The correlation results indicated that all the domains are intercorrelated significantly and positively. When the relations are examined among the sub-factors of ARSS and IWBQ; positive and significant correlations were obtained between Autonomous Self and Agency/Participation, as well as Relational Self, Social Connections and Close Relationships. The results were discussed according to the literature and some suggestions were offered.

Bu araştırmada; Kağıtçıbaşı’nın Özerk-İlişkisel Benlik Modeli’ne (ÖİBM) dayanan Özerk-İlişkisel Benlik Ölçeği’nin (ÖİBÖ; Kağıtçıbaşı, Baydar ve Cemalcılar, 2006) geçerlik ve güvenirlik analizleri yapıldı. Bu bağlamda, iki farklı örneklem üzerinde Açıklayıcı Faktör Analizi (AFA), Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) ve Cronbach Alfa güvenirlik analizi yapıldı. AFA ve DFA sonucunda, orijinalinde olduğu gibi 18 maddeden ve iki faktörden oluşan ölçek elde edildi. ÖİBÖ’nün alt faktörleri olan Özerk Benlik ve İlişkisel Benlik arasındaki korelasyonlar incelendi. Özerk Benlik ve İlişkisel Benlik puanları medeni durum ve cinsiyete göre Mann Whitney U Testi ile karşılaştırıldı. ÖİBÖ puanları üzerinde K Ortalamalar Kümeleme Analizi tekniği ile Kağıtçıbaşı’nın öne sürdüğü Özerk-Ayrık, Bağımlı-İlişkisel, Özerk-İlişkisel ve Bağımlı-Ayrık benlik modellerinin kesme puanları belirlendi. Bununla birlikte; çok boyutlu Öznel Esenlik Hali Modeli’ne (ÖEHM) dayanan Öznel Esenlik Hali Ölçeği’nin (ÖEHÖ; White, Gaines ve Jha, 2013) İngilizce’den Türkçe’ye çeviri çalışmaları, geçerlik ve güvenirlik analizleri yapıldı. AFA ve DFA sonucunda, orijinalinde olduğu gibi 35 maddeden ve yedi faktörden oluşan ölçek elde edildi. ÖEHÖ’nün alt faktörleri olan Ekonomik Güvence, Yetkinlik/Katılım, Sosyal Bağlantılar, Yakın İlişkiler, Fiziksel/Ruhsal Sağlık, Kişisel Yeterlilik/Öz-Değer ve Değerler/Yaşamı Anlamlandırma arasındaki korelasyonlar incelendi. Bütün alt faktörler arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı korelasyonlar elde edildi. ÖİBÖ’nün ve ÖEHÖ’nün alt faktörleri arasındaki korelasyonlar incelendiğinde, Özerk Benlik ile Yetkinlik/Katılım, İlişkisel Benlik ile Sosyal Bağlantılar ve Yakın İlişkiler arasında pozitif ve anlamlı korelasyonlar elde edildi. Sonuçlar literatür çerçevesinde yorumlandı ve bazı öneriler sunuldu.
