Cognition is defined as the processing of information which is the backbone of science that people use in most fields with computers and other devices in a regular and reasonable manner. As a result of the processing of information in this way, it is started to be needed information technologies in every kind of fields. Along with the developing technology, music has also become a scientific discipline that needs this system and tries to keep up with it. . In this context, information assisted music lesson which was taken in the curriculum by the ministry of education has been taught in Fine Arts High School since 2006.In recent years, within the scope of Fatih Project,with the formation of information infrastructures aroused curiosity about how the course is taught. In this way, 51 Fine Arts High School Teachers were interviewed about the processing and physical conditions of the B.I.D.E.M. In the study the encountered problems in the application of the course were researched and it was aimed to find out solutions. The study is important in terms of contributing to the more efficient and effective processing of the B.I.D.E.M. course. According to the findings of the research, the majority of the teachers stated that there is no technical infrastructure required for the computer aided music lesson in their institutions. In addition, they pointed out that the notes and writing programs in the content of computer aided music lessons couldn’t be taken due to economical reasons. For this reason they stated that they have been using the demo versions of the programs.

Bilişim, insanların çoğu alanda kullandığı bilimin dayanağı olan bilginin düzenli ve akla uygun şekilde bilgisayarlar ve benzeri aygıtlarla işlenmesi bilimi olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Bilginin bu şekilde işlenmesi sonucunda bilişim teknolojilerine her türlü alanda ihtiyaç duyulmaya başlanmıştır. Gelişen teknoloji ile beraber müzik de bu sisteme ihtiyaç duyan ve ayak uydurmaya çalışan bir bilim dalı haline gelmiştir. Bu kapsamda Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından müfredata alınan Bilişim Destekli Müzik dersi 2006 yılından beri Güzel Sanatlar Liselerinde okutulmakta olan bir ders olmakla beraber bu dersin amacı öğrencileri müzik teknolojisi ve materyallerinden haberdar etmek ve onlara bu materyalleri kullanma becerilerini kazandırmaktır. Son yıllarda okullarda Fatih Projesi kapsamında bilişim altyapılarının oluşturulmasıyla beraber dersin ne şekilde işlendiği merak uyandırmaktadır. Bu düşünceden yola çıkılarak BİDEM dersinin işlenişi ve fiziksel şartları hakkında 51 Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi Öğretmeniyle görüşme yapılmıştır. Çalışmada dersin uygulanmasında karşılaşılan sorunlar araştırılmış ve çözüm önerileri getirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, BİDEM dersinin daha faydalı ve etkin işlenmesine katkı sağlaması açısından önem taşımaktadır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre öğretmenlerin çoğunluğu kurumlarında bilişim destekli müzik dersinin yapılabilmesi için gerekli teknik altyapının bulunmadığını belirtmektedirler. Ayrıca bilişim destekli müzik dersi içeriğindeki nota yazım ve kayıt programlarının ekonomik sebepler dolayısıyla alınamadığını bu nedenle programların demo sürümlerini kullandıklarını ifade etmişlerdir.
